SMP for Diffuse Thinning Hair
There are many hair loss solutions, from shampoos and foams to the hair transplants, to laser and light therapy. The problem with all of these treatments is that they are all trying to promote new hair growth, and there is no guarantee of success.
Scalp micropigmentation in the case of diffuse thinning is different.
There is no promise of new hair growth. Instead, it works to conceal the devastation that hair loss brings. Our expert SMP Artists implant specialty pigment with a micro needle, just below the surface of the skin. “Follicles” are layered over three to four sessions. We create density and depth, session-by-session, while keeping the “follicles” looking sharp and natural. After the final session, the contrast between bare scalp and hair will be reduced dramatically.
The additional advantages of SMP density sessions are that you are not required to shave your head to receive treatment. Scalp Micropigmentation is quick. non-invasive and healing times are incredibly short. Not all clients are good candidates for SMP density treatments, but we are happy to offer complimentary consultations to discuss which options are the best fit for each individual.
Scalp micropigmentation procedures are not all the same. Each client will require a different amount of coverage and density. For this reason, we do not have a set price list of costs for these procedures.
As a general guide, most SMP density procedures at Victoria Scalp Micropigmentation range from $800-$1000 per session. Most clients require 3-4 sessions to achieve their desired results.
