SMP Solutions for Scars
We disguise the look of scars by filling in areas where the follicle has been damaged and/or hair no longer grows. Tiny tattooed hair follicles are gradually added in layers over the area to create a blended and undetectable look. This treatment is suitable for FUT and FUE transplant scarring as well as accident, other surgical and some birthmark scars. We are also well versed in SMP for Lichen Planopilaris.
For the best scar camouflage results, it is recommended that the hair around scarring be shaved down to a 0-0.5 length, to ensure a flawless blend. We also use this technique to add fullness in patchy beards (facial micropigmentation).
As a general guide, at Victoria Scalp Micropigmentation, the cost for scar revision treatments ranges from $500-1000 per session. Most clients require 2-3 sessions to achieve desired scar camouflage result.
